Teaching Materials

Academic writing is not a technique to be memorised — it is a form of thinking that has to be worked out. A set of materials accompanying that process, from the first thematic interest to the finished term paper, is available on this site: step-by-step guides, worked examples of introductions, a four-part video course, and a fifty-point self-assessment checklist with annotated examples of common mistakes.

These materials are written for students at German-speaking universities and follow the formal conventions of German academic writing (Hausarbeit), so they are available in German only.
